I have been after this shot for 2 years now. I always past it in the fall and see the red colors and say I am going to come back and capture this and then forget. Well I got it this year. Love the reds on the leaves. This too was to be a HDR capture but I knew it would not work. The wind was about 17 mph Sat. and the leaves just came out as a bloody mess. So this is a single shot, the best of the 6 that i took for the HDR.

In a place like this with in a world like this where human eyes have become so jaded by the ugly you really have to look past all that to see some thing like this. Sad because people will past this everyday and not notice it.
